Merry Christmas!

We've been busy getting ready for Christmas! And now it's only a few days away! I can't wait! Such a fun time of year.
Aubrey was in the Sunday School Program this year. She did not say her piece, but she sang 'Jesus Loves Me', with her class.

Aubrey had been waiting to play outside in the snow, and we got enough for a snowman. Wyatt wasn't too sure about the snow, but he loved the snowman. He kept saying 'Frosty' over and over again.

This was the runner up picture for the Christmas card.

Christmas Season

I love this time of year. Tonight, my sister, above, babysat the kids and Joshua and I went out for dinner and Christmas shopping for the kids, and got most of it done.
We got the tree up, most of the Christmas cards are addressed, made a lot of kiss cookies.
Looking forward to the ladies ornament exchange tomorrow, other Christmas gatherings, the Christmas program, I cannot believe my daughter will be in it, she's not old enough yet! ;)
I love getting the mail this time of year, so much fun to get all the cards/pictures and not just bills and junk. And, I love being pregnant during the holidays, not too much guilt when those kiss cookies just taste so darn good!

Venison Sausage

Last year Joshua made beef sticks with some venison/pork, and he had a lot of meat and got tired of tubing so many small sticks, so we took the rest and made summer sausage and it turned out delicious! So he made some again this week, and it turned out great again!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. My parents and sisters came down, so all of my sisters were in town. All of Joshua's family was in town as well. We had Thanksgiving dinner with Joshua's family, it was a delicious meal and a wonderful day. I felt like I saw a lot of both families and didn't feel rushed at all. And to top it off, we all took long naps on Sunday afternoon. Now to get ready for Christmas! Hard to believe it's December already!

Just wanted to wish everybody a Happy Thanksgiving! We are looking forward to a fun long weekend with lots of family to visit! Safe travels to those traveling!

Wow

My oven has been broken for a couple weeks, and we finally called a guy to come and check it out.
He is going to be 90 years old next month! He drives, and fixes appliances! Amazing!
And now my oven is working again!

Hat for Bre

I made a trial hat for Aubrey. I love this pattern, super easy. I will probably make another one in a different color, this doesn't compliment her pale complexion, but this is what I had at home.
